> CS496 in Green and Black
Here is a very nice condition CS496, made around 1940, in green and black with gold-filled trim; the pen is a lever-filler and has a medium grade 14ct gold No.5 nib and writes nicely; there is little or no plating wear on the band or the clip but a little on the edges of the lever; there are no cracks, chips or deep scratches and the imprint is crisp. Unusually there is no 'waisting' on the cap.
