A very nice condition Major Vacumatic fountain pen in emerald pearl that has an aluminium speedline pump; there is little or no plating wear on the bands but there is a little on the high points of the clip and the tassie ring. There are no cracks, splits, or engraved names and the tassie on the cap and blind cap are both emerald pearl; there are one or two small marks consistent with use. The pen has been stripped, cleaned, had a new diaphragm fitted, reassembled, adjusted, and write tested. The nib is a fine grade single-colour 14ct gold, and I would think, original to the pen; it writes nicely with no flexibility. The imprint is barely readable.
