> Parker Lucky Curve Duofold 223 in Chased Black Finish with Two Cap Bands

Here is a very nice chased Duofold in black from 1920 ish with a very readable imprint; this pen has been used so has a few small marks consistent with that use but it is not damaged and any new owner will be thrilled with it; it has a lovely fine grade 14ct gold nib and writes nicely; there are little signs of plating wear on the clip and the bands but just a little sign of wear on the chasing; there are just slight signs of wear where the cap fits or where it is posted; I am describing this pen as a 223 because it has 223 engraved on the end of the blind cap; I bought it from an elderly lady (I think she said she was 86 years old) about 20 years ago and I queried the number as I had not heard of a 223 but she told me it belonged to her father and assured me he didn't use it often so couldn't imagine how the blind cap could be anything but original; no doubt someone will come on to me with some information.
